All systems and services are operating as normal

Maintenance Updates:

Wednesday 22nd May 2024 between 09.00 and 17.00 BST

Iomart will be carrying out a black building test to ensure the correct operation of the electrical mains supply fail over systems, and will also be enabling the new solar panel array into service

What will happen?

1, Place all of the ATS units on the air con units to manual
2, Check all of the UPS units are running fault free
3, Enable the new solar panel array
4, Operate the changeover key switches on the four mains boards
5, Check all of the generators have started and are running correctly
    with no faults.
6, Check that the solar panel array has tripped out when the generators started
7, Check all UPS and air con units and BMS are operating fault free
8, Let the generators run for approximately 60 minutes to ensure there are no issues
9, Reverse the steps above to revert back to mains supply
10, Carry out checks to all plant to ensure the systems are back in normal operation.
When will the work be carried out?

Wednesday 22nd May 2024 Work window from 09.00 to 17.00 BST.  The duration of the works will be approximately 6 hours.

Who will be completing the work?

The work will be carried out by the iomart Mechanical & Electrical Manager and specialist contractors from our relevant suppliers.

Will I experience downtime?

As with any type of maintenance there is a risk of downtime, however the black building test is expected to be a non-service affecting test.  If at any point the risk to the site is increased then the test will be aborted and mains power will be re-instated.
